Divesicily – Diving in Taormina & Giardini Naxos since 1983
With over 40 years of experience, Divesicily is a family-run diving center based in Giardini Naxos, on the beautiful coast of Taormina, Sicily. Since 1983, we have been sharing the underwater beauty of this coastline with divers from all over the world.
We specialize in boat diving, guided dives, scuba courses, beginner experiences and snorkeling, exploring the crystal-clear waters around Taormina, Isola Bella and the Bay of Naxos. Our dive sites include spectacular walls, caves, archaeological sites and rich Mediterranean marine life.
What makes us unique is our personal approach and local experience. We believe diving should be safe, relaxed and enjoyable, without rushing or overcrowded groups. Our multilingual team takes the time to understand every diver and adapts the experience to their level and needs.
Our boat is based directly in Giardini Naxos harbour, giving us easy access to some of Sicily’s most beautiful underwater sites. Whether it is your first dive or your hundredth, we want every dive with Divesicily to be an experience you will remember.

Safety information:
Safety Information – Divesicily Safety is our highest priority at Divesicily. Before every dive, our instructors provide a clear briefing covering the dive plan, depth, conditions, entry and exit procedures, communication and emergency procedures. All dives are planned according to weather, sea conditions, current, visibility and diver experience. We operate with professional safety equipment on board, and our instructors and Divemasters continuously monitor divers throughout the activity. We keep groups small whenever possible and adapt the dive plan to the abilities and comfort level of each group. Our philosophy is simple: dive safely, stay together and enjoy the sea without rushing.

Opening days and annual closure:
Opening Hours & Annual Closure – Divesicily Divesicily operates mainly during the diving season, with daily diving activities scheduled according to weather, sea conditions and bookings. Typical diving hours: 🕗 08:00–12:30 – morning boat diving Additional afternoon dives may be available depending on the season and demand. Annual closure: Divesicily normally closes during the winter period, when regular diving operations are suspended. Exact opening and closing dates can vary each year depending on weather conditions, bookings and operational planning. For the most accurate availability, guests are encouraged to contact us directly before booking, especially outside the main season.

One of the best groups I’ve ever dived with. Alex is an extremely knowledgeable local instructor who works with local authorities and organizations to do great conservation work. He developed the underwater archaeology course with a local colleague in the research field, and Dive Sicily is the only place in the world to get that specialty license. He found the exclusive sites for the course after decades of diving here and his passion for organizing grassroots volunteer events shows the love he and his son Angelo have for the island.
